airline rules

Each airline imposes different limits on the number of miles you can transfer. (don't worry, we have already incorporated these rules into our search engine - we won't let you do something the airlines won't.) Every airline is different, but we've tried to make it as simple as possible.*

Alaska / Horizon

The minimum transfer amount is 1,000. The maximum into or out of your account is 100,000 miles.

American / United

The minimum transfer amount is 5,000 miles. The max you can transfer into your account is 15,000 miles, max out is 60,000.

Continental

The minimum transfer amount is 2,500 miles. The maximum 1 person can give to any other person's account is 15,000, however there is no limit as to the number of people who transfer 15,000 into your account.

Delta

The minimum transfer amount is 1,000. The maximum into your account is 300,000 miles and out of your account is 150,000.

NWA

The minimum number of miles you can transfer is 5,000. The maximum you can transfer into another account is 30,000 miles and out of yours is 75,000.

US Air

The minimum number of miles you can transfer into or out of your account in a transaction is 5,000, the maximum is 50,000. The number of transactions is unlimited.
